Goal #1: To become fully fluent in Spanish in order to make regular trips to work with the clinic and hospital in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. I hope to offer therapeutic assistance to the terrified children and families who come to these locations. Just because they are receiving sub-standard medical care does not mean that their emotional needs should be neglected, as well.

Goal #2: To commit to the healthy habit of running and train to run the St. Jude marathon in honor of my roommate who won her battle with cancer

Goal #3: To pass the Child Life certification exam in August 2018 and become a certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS)

Goal #4: To work as a Child Life fellow in order to gain more experience in the field

 

Goal #5: To gain employment with an accredited children's hospital as a Child Life Specialist

Goal #6: To earn Master's degree in field related to Child Life

Goal #7: To advance into leadership role for Child Life team

Goal #8: To begin working in private practice, providing Child Life services for families dealing with cancer
